Nose
 The first aromas on the nose confirm the impression given by
 appearance with intense notes of ripe fruit, honey, and crusty bread
 all in evidence immediately, followed, after a little time for the
 wine to breathe, by hints of dried fruit and stewed fruit. An honest
 wine at its peak with nothing held back. After ten minutes in the
 flute neither the wine nor the effervescence is diminished. The nose
 is open, fairly delicate yet complex; all the signs of a mature wine
 yet without any suggestion of excessive development.
 Palate
 Supple and lively on the attack with just the right amount
 offreshness. Well-balanced and pleasantly round on the
 palate. The slight vinosity and the dosage perfectly
 complement the wine’s freshnessand subtle bite
